Corporate Edition seems to have more "fixes" over the years.
I did have a problem with the new TealScript's "upstroke" menu - related to TealLock - because I use upstroke to "off and lock."
Selecting TealScript was taking me straight to the default "help" menu instead of the app itself. When I selected "off&lock" for TealLock, it was AUTOMATICALLY locking the handheld if I opened TealScript. Furthermore, at first anyway, the "Selector" for upstroke default wasn't working at all.
While the regular edition of 5.50 has no problems, I think your problem and mine may be related and wrote Tealpoint about it. They fixed the 2nd part (upstroke selector menu not working at all) - but unless I installed TealScript and IMMEDIATELY moved it to flash, and THEN configured - it was still "autolocking" when opening the app.
I think there's something in the code that's wonky with BOTH TealScript and TealLock as a result of all the damn Treo/T5/LD fixes - they're tracking them down and if you voiced your concerns directly, it will probably be fixed (yours and my problem) before the final TealLock "new" version comes out. It is in final beta, so they'd better hurry. I DO NOT keep TealLock in flash - if you do Syno - be careful!" Not "too" off-topic,Here's what to do should you decide (I'm mulling it over myself):
Create a 1-2k SETTINGS file (under TealLock options) and put that in flash too! JackFlash will "warn" you about databases in flash - ignore it, as it's not constantly changed and is moe of a resource database. That way, if you had your PDA locked and it crashed - TealLock would "return from the dead" due to being in flash . . . but you'd be unable to unlock the unit. No settings file, and an erased password left in RAM - you're in a world of hurt. Tried it for about 1 day, got the "shivers," and put it back in RAM. I like the idea (especially if you're using Corporate Edition, although I don't know why - that' syour business) that if someone found your locked PDA, hard-reset it thinking they'd have a new one with a cleared password . . . guess what - no go, Blinky! Downside is it might happen to YOU, and you're unable to restore (or ever get it to turn on again properly and unlokced) because you're in a "flash/locked/reset/flash/locked" loop.
Yikes. Worth thinking about, though.
