OK, I think I am hooked! Gave in and decided to investigate the TealSoftware web site. I downloaded and decided to purchase some of their software. I am "in love" with TealLaunch. I can see why Paul is hooked....I am also now!
I have several new applications, so far TealLaunch and TealCalc are two of my favorites....WoW...I am becoming such a PDA Geek!

Thanks everyone for all your input here!

Ok - the truth is now out - the new AKA for PalmTealLover is CarolCasey!

:-)

From one PDA geek to another, I have to admit, I also use a few of the Teal apps, Launch and Alias and think they work better than most other apps on the market.

"I like being a geek...." Oh yeah, it is really, "I like being a girl..."

Don't know how I lived without a PDA.

Music to my ears.

Between Carol finding Tealpoint, and T3Gunner doing the Sprat/Flash thing, it has indeed been a happy couple of days for your truly on this forum!! Now I'm just gonna sit here being happy . . .

Go Team!!! Brayder and Tealpoint. Now we're cookin'.

Also check out Natara Bonsai, Florent Pillet's FindHack and YAHM - and you'll have the PDA from hell!!

I was surfing on PalmGear (before my T3 died) and found Bonasi. So, you can be a little more happier knowing that I have that new application also. I am really liking it! I will check out the other stuff when I get my new T5. I am really feeling my PDA is just an extnsion of my life and I don't know how I survived with out it...Hey and I asked about Spratting/Flashing thing on the T5 and Palmone said it would not be a problem and in fact it is much more of an option on T5.

Gives you an idea of how much P1 know

. . . . Brayder is not currently supporting Sprat/Flash on the T5, and according to Brad over there, the T5 has "a kind of flash I've never even seen before." It's more of a "built-in SD Card."

So that's out . . . but you've got more "room on the T5 anyway, so you're okay.

Be careful though . . . a hard reset won't bring back all your stuff on a T5 the same way a T3 with JackFlash/Safe would. You can still "lose stuff."

So backup well.

Although I plan on installing Jack Flash and Jack Sprat on my T5, I will have more room on this one than on my T3. Because of this I won't have to use the applications as much. Of course there are a few things that I would never use, i.e. expenses, etc that I won't need...either way, I will definitely be very careful and backup everything....

Uuuuuugh . . . . . . . hmmmm . . . . . . . .

Well okay. As far as I'm told by Brad himself, THE T5 ISN'T COMPATIBLE WITH JACK FLASH/SPRAT.

Good luck.

Paul
Thanks for the heads up. I will be cautious and not install it, at least just yet. It is amazing that there can be such a difference between OS 5.2 and O 5.4.
