TEACHING STEP UP TO A PARROTLET?

I have had my Parrotlet for a little over 3 weeks. I got her from a pet store where many people touched her, picked her up ect..But i was wondering.. How do I get her to step up onto my finger? I have tried pushing my finger under her chest and encouraging her and also feeding her treats to step up but it never works. I have also tried using other objects too. She just never really steps up! She doesnt eat that many treats either. please help! THANKS :)
 
Like your doing push your fingers under her chest and use your other hand to put one of her feet on your fingers. After doing this a bit she will most likely learn that what you want is her to step up and do it without you having to put her foot on your fingers.
