TCPMP on T/X

I have TCPMP version 0.71 on my Palm T/X. Whenever I am listening to a playlist on TCPMP and try to switch to another program, it stops playing the music. It does not do this with PocketTunes. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.
 
I am a newbie to this but I beleive, when you switch to another program it shuts down TCPMP. Pocket tunes maybe set up to run in the background and TCPMP is not.
