In a way the intervention of governments places regulators in the position of parents. THe kids will play until someone gets hurt (usally from bad decisions) and then instead of a lesson learnt it becomes a caregiver situation. Do WE want our tax dollars to go to businesses who could have acted differently but took unecessary risk inorder to maximise their own profits to beenefit from a taxpayer bailout?
