You spend minutes crafting the perfect comment for each post, but we don't give you any heads up when someone replies @you. It hardly seems fair, does it? With Tawker, comment reply notifications are yours.
Lifehacker reader Brian Bailey noticed our ungainly attempt to offer our readers comment reply notifications a few weeks ago and decided to take pity on us; the result is Tawker, a simple email notification system that fires off an email alert to your inbox whenever someone replies to one of your comments.
To set it up, just head to the Tawker subscribe page, enter the email address where you want to receive notifications, add your commenter name (this is the name as it appears when you post—the name that follows '@' when people reply to you), and select the Gawker Media blogs you frequent.

In the future, when someone replies to a comment you've made, you'll receive an email from Tawker in your inbox that looks something like this:

You can unsubscribe at any time here by simply entering the email address you signed up with. Thanks Brian! We're forever in your debt.
Tawker
