I recently found out that some fish are being tattooed, or dyed, and sold, and that it's fairly common. "Mixed Fruit" Tetras is one of the names. The mortality rate is over 80% when the fish are colored artificially, by tattooing or dyeing. The processes used to give them these artificial colors are torture. There is no law against it. There should be. What can we do?

Not much. Maybe contact PETA about it. Those fools just started to call fish "water kittens," so I'm sure they'll jump on that. Dyed and tattooed fish are sick, as I'm sure everyone here agrees. I just yell at the manager/store owner.

Oh wait, it's "Sea kittens"

Lmao. As much as I hate PETA, maybe someone can get them to do something.
