tattoo breakout

I have never had a problem with acne, however I got a tattoo about a month ago, and I began to use A & D ointment on it. this is my second tattoo, and I used the A & D for the first one as well, with no problems. with this one, however, I began to experience breakouts on and around it. I figured this was due to the greasiness of the ointment, and brushed it off. I quit using it about 3 weeks ago, and I am still having breakouts. I am just wondering if this is normal or cause for concern? thanks in advance.
 
Happens to me just from the clogged pores. When you get a tattoo they shave the area and it always makes me brfeak out, especially from shaving then putting the ointment on it. It does not happen to all my tattoos but about half of them I would say did that, and I have a lot!
Just dont pick at it and it should go away soon!

great, just wanted to make sure it was nothing to worry about, but it makes even more sense now, because they didn't shave around the first one like they did with this one, so I feel better. thanks!!
