I am about to get a sleeve tattoo but I have some concerns. I wanted a tattoo without outlines (i.e. no black outline) but when I requested this to my artist, he told me that it wouldn't look good... He told me that the colored ink would spread easier so it would all sort of look like a mush after a few years. I really like the look of tattoos without black outlines so I really wanted to push through with my request but he finally told me that the outline would be thin enough that I would barely be able to see it... Is what he said really true? It's hard to believe that colored ink spreads more than black ink... I don't really know what he means...
