Tapering off Suboxone

Hi everybody, I'm currently being treated for my addiction with Suboxone. I've been taking it for 3 weeks now, started at 12 mgs/day and now I'm down to 6. Does anybody know what's going to happen now?? I want to get off the sub as fast as possible... I guess I'm just wondering how much longer it will take and what the w/d will be like, etc.
 
Hi Jesse, I was just reading an old post that you wrote about getting off of suboxone. How did you make out. I am on day 5 of being suboxone free and am feeling absolutely awful and had weaned myself down (definitely with my doctor's help) to 1/4 of a pill once a day and then a few days of maybe eighths of a pill. The worst problem is the flu like symptoms, jitters, anxiousness, depression and the worst of all insomnia. I pace back and forth all day, have no energy and wait and wait for bedtime and toss and turn not sleeping a wink all night. How was it when you went through it and how are you feeling now.
