Tango or Salsa Dance?

Salsa is most definitely easier. It is a standard 8 count, devided into two separate beats of four. The basic stays the same throughout.

Tango on the other hand changes. There are two different types - Argentinian and strict Ballroom Tango. Ballroom is very strict syllabus driven, where Argentinian is a street dance - which has been adapted to the dancing scene - just like Salsa.

Salsa - party dance
Tango - Passion and feeling.

Its actually not about what is easier, its what your soul will grasp better - your own personal choice.

Salsa is pretty easy, well to follow anyway. But it's probably easy to lead too because you can pretty much do anything as long as it's in the count. Tango (American) is easy too, but can get sort of boring. Argentine Tango is not boring at all but it's very very hard. So I would suggest Salsa.

I should think the Salsa.
Tango is lovely to watch but it looks harder to me.
Dancing with the Stars really shows you how these dances differ.

I cant choose they are both great...different though. Salsa is a less strict dance as it is Street Latin where as Tango is a more technichal dance...if you do it properly. If you are asking whether you should do it...learn both! its better to learn different types of dances than one!
