Im looking at buying an 04-05 Cadillac CTS-V. I've found a couple for $20k or so with 50,000-70,000 miles on them, and they retail for about $21k, the private party retail is about $18k, and the trade in value is about $15k (all excellent condition).
I have about $20k cash to spend, but i really want to spend $18k or under. Would a dealership consider dropping the price more if i was talking straight cash, or do they not care? How could i get them down to a price i really want? I don't want to go to a dealership and be disappointed, I'm willing to travel up to 500 miles to get this car.
