I wish I could get the CW National Channel on my DirecTV unless one of the Macon affiliates would carry The CW on a digital subchannel and it's not going to be WMAZ or WGXA. WMGT or WPGA could carry the network.

According to zap2it.com...

8am - Di-Gata Defenders
8:30am - Biker Mice From Mars
9am - An hour of Sonic X
10am - 2 hours of "Weekend Marketplace" (infomercials)

I highly doubt that that's right, unless 4Kids is offering stuff like that on a syndicated basis -- and I don't see how that's possible.

I checked Zap and the DC Fox station has:
8:00 - Sports Stars of Tomorrow
8:30 - an hour of Saved by the Bell
9:30 - Animal Atlas
10:00 - Weekend Marketplace

The Baltimore station has
8:00 - 90 min of local infomercials
9:30 - Friends
10:00 - Wknd Mrktplace

Ah, I was looking at the generic Fox schedule.

The NYC lineup is...

7am - Saved By The Bell
7:30am - Wild About Animals
8am - Awesome Adventures
8:30am - WHADDYADO
9am - Real Winning Edge
9:30am - Teen Kids News
10am - Weekend Marketplace

A shame... not a single cartoon

According to zap2it.com, RWE is "Teen challenges and solutions."

TKN is just a cheap local newscast with teen reporters and writers.

This is bogus, no cartoons on Fox, it just isn't right....

I will watch the final airing of 4K!DSTV and remember my childhood when cartoons were dominant and on like every channel back then....

Sadly, i was just getting into fox more with 4kids i did before till i heard the bad news. I been following the network since Fox Kids back in the 90s and sad to hear Fox is pulling out. Sadly only two shows on the block i will miss once they take it off the air, Biker Mars mostly. Here is the schedule for people living in Central Indiana picking up WXIN:

7:00Am - 8:00am Gladiators 2000

8:00Am - 9:00am Indiana's Market.

9:00am - 11:00am Weekend Marketplace

4 Kids, you will be missed.

Of Course this isnt truely the end. CW will still carry the block, although half of it isnt the same programs. There is a new programing coming to the block that looks mighty sweet and i'll be enjoying that block along with Dinosquad on CBS.

Weekend Marketplace (basically 2 hours of syndicated infomercials) will air from 10 AM to 12 PM. Local FOX affiliates will fill in the remaining time with whatever they choose. Many will play E/I programs.

The sad thing about this is that Weekend Marketplace has been cleared by 95% of FOX affiliates. That's a significantly higher percentage than there ever was for FoxBox or 4Kids TV, which is why 4Kids decided to transfer over to The CW in the first place. Shows how much FOX cares about children's programming.

Back on topic...I wonder if 4Kids will make a special bump or something. I'm not really expecting it, since they're not saying 4Kids TV is ending, but rather moving online. Still, it would be nice for the final broadcast of the block to be acknowledged. I'll be watching the whole morning if possible...

Fox 61's new schedule (the first and last hour are unchanged):

7AM - Gladiators 2000
8AM - Infomercials
9AM - Your Baby Can Read*
9:30AM - Infomercials
10AM - Weekend Marketplace
12PM - Teen Kids News

What, not even a Beakman's World airing (if my Fox affiliate still has it)? Friggin lame.

*- "Watch Dr. Titzer teach babies to read!" ...might just be an infomercial with a name, but I'm not sure. If it's still around the next week, I might watch it for hilarity value

You shall be missed 4KidsTV. We knew this day was coming since the pregnancy that led to your sister block, CW4Kids, was announced, but we really weren't expecting it this soon.

From Stargate Infinity to Biker Mice From Mars, and every show inbetween, you provided some great shows that were overlooked by angry anime fans. But luckily, unlike the block you replaced, your legacy won't entirely vanish and shall live on in your sister.

Fox Box/4Kids TV
September 14th 2002 - December 27th 2008
"What's Inside? The Game Station"

I shall report Fox 5 and form what I'm seeing we are not getting The marketplace instead we get Teen News and that animal thing at 10 and 1030 respectfully but instead we get 4 hours of non stop paid programing after. We don't have 4Kids here anyway . Now the fox in macon is doing the market place and showing the one cheddar put up from 8-10

new saturday schedule from WGXA-TV's website (TitanTV)

8:00-9:30 Paid Programming
9:30 Awesome Adventures

Better check your Fox station's website for the new schedule.

Hm, looks like my affiliate's showing three hours of Degrassi from 7 till 10 and then the two hours of Weekend Marketplace.

It's a real shame, my affiliate was always pretty good to 4Kids TV unlike a lot of the other ones by the sound of it. It's been at least a year since half the block was preempted for sports too, which was a pretty common occurrence here in the Pacific timezone, so that was nice.

4Kids TV is one of the few blocks where I'm old enough/actually had the channel (I never got the WB, and thus no Kids' WB until the merge into the CW) to clearly remember the whole thing, and yeah there was a lot of crap on the block but there were some great gems on there as well, like Ultimate Muscle, TMNT, Shaman King, and the like.

I'll miss it, since it beat the hell out of over-dramatic tween edutainment and infomercials.

*gets WTTG FOX 5*

Lucky Baltimore viewers... they sound like the only ones with anything good (I like Friends, though I haven't seen it all and I haven't really watched it in awhile).

Goodbye 4Kids TV, I'll always remember you... and goodbye FOX children's programming altogether...
