1. what kind of writing prompt does the ACT have?
like for the SATs, its like a agree or disagree type of a prompt (well thats the one i was given)

2. and am i able to guess on the questions i have no clue on? or is it like the SATs, where guessing could lower my score even more?

thanks!
sorry for not clarifying about the writing prompt

well you have the option of taking a writing portion on the ACTs...
what i was wondering was what kind of writing prompt/style/questions do they usually have if u decide to take the writing portion...(sorry thats that best i could ask lol)

On the ACT's it's better to answer every question, even if you have to guess. On the SAT's they only grade the questions you answer, but on the ACT's you're graded on all the questions.

I'm not sure what you mean by "writing prompt". All the questions are either True/False or multiple choice. Most of the science questions are reading comprehension, so if you're good at inferring information from things you've read, you'll do very well in that part. Even the math isn't all that difficult. And, like I said, if all else fails, guess.
