Taking rabbits along on a trip in a car.. help..?

I lie in India. I have a pair of rabbits. Have to go to some other city for two days which would involve traveling in a car for 8 hours. The time of the season is cold with average temperature being 15-25 Celcius. My car is air-conditioned.

Can i take my rabbits in my car in a cage for 8 hours of travel with food provided and by maintaining the same home-like temprature ????
