I have some experience with photography have a Canon Rebel with a 18mm - 55 mm zoom which gives me some flexibility with the settings.Question is: While I am inside a tunnel or a cave shooting out into the daylight I cannot get a nice balance of light. Using the (built in) flash gives great detail to the cave walls but completely washes out the daylight background in the cave opening. Likewise, using no flash, the area outside the cave is fine but the cave walls are completely black. Can anyone suggest any manual settings on the camera to help balance the light, just short of bringing in my own lighting into the cave/tunnel? Thanks.
