Taking off the Boulevard Emblem?

Hey Guys,

I see that some of your rides are straight black on the gas tank.

How do you remove the Suzuki Boulevard Emblem on the sides of the gas tank?

Thanks

Steve, welcome to the forum! You're in Los Alamitos, I live right next door in Seal Beach. We should meet and ride some time.

Wait a minute. I have a brother in Los Alamitos who rides a blue M50! Welcome to the forum little brother! You should mention that it was me who told you about the fishing line, and that I got it from this forum awhile back.

You're a graphic designer and all you could come up with for a user name was your name?! Very creative!! JK.

I think I'm gonna have a wet ride home tonight. See ya.

I would'nt want to remove my Boulevard emblem..... no one would know what kind of bike it was.....and people would'nt see that I was a proud Suzuki owner.

I would take mine off even if it was a Harley or Ducati only because I like the clean, finished look. Plus, then you can add your own stuff and make the bike a bit more personal....hmmm, now I have an idea.

My buddy dropped his C-50 and it slid across an intersection. It slid on the emblem so if it weren't for his emblem, his tank would've been really damaged.

It is when the guy pulls up beside your Debadged C50SE on his badged C50SE and asks what kind of bike you are riding that you start to wonder about people.

I had it happen at a stop light, then I had it happen at the dealer.
The guy walks up ask what I am riding and points to his bike.

Both were riding 06 models of my bike in diff. colors.

I also get a kick of people walking around the bike trying to fiqure it out.
Any Harley rider knows the diff., shaft drive, water cooled are big give aways, it is the RUB that has the trouble.

... I debadged my C50...and noticed the badges were still sticky....and then decided it might be fun to rebadge it and mess with people's minds. Here is my pic... ;) "Hey ..what kinda bike is that !? " " why... it is a OS rocket...of course !"

What do you call a backwards C ???

Thought I would chime in on this one. I Debadged my C90 last night. Was VERY easy! I used a twist on the earlier mentioned methods. There is a great product out there called De-Solv-It. It is totally safe and biodegradable. Just spray some on the top part of the badge or sticker and let is soak for a few minutes then use fishing line to remove badge. Any residue can then be cleaned with a little more. As a side note I also use this stuff on my jeans to get out grease and oil stains from when I have been wrenching in the garage. :bluethum:
