I'm this pickle as well. I'm in all Honors classes along with 3 community service clubs and on and off athletics. It's not easy to balance but if you do the honors classes make sure that they come first over everything else

I am thinking of taking Honors English, Science, and Social Studies, but I am worried I wont be able to handle them and also cross country, winter & spring track. I also want to join Key club(volunteering club). What do you think I should do? I want to make the right choice now so when I'm a senior and applying for college I wont regret not taking honor classes. Any advice from anyone experienced with taking honor classes and playing sports?

I took honor's classes, and they really are not that difficult. It is important to keep up your GPA, so don't ever let that fall short of a main priority. I think you can handle track; you will need to learn how to organize your time (great preparation for college, trust me!) and key club shouldn't take up great amounts of time either. A friend of mine was actually an honors/AP student and one of the main guys on the football team - graduated with honors and went off to a great university (not to mention he had a baby with his girlfriend). So, I'm sure you can handle it if someone in such a compromising situation could. Good luck!
