Taking Chemistry and Biology?

I need to complete some courses that are pre-reqs of all the entry requirements for the local nursing program(s).

I am enrolled in Chemistry and Biology for the fall semester; are these complimentary or contradictory courses?

Meaning, will these courses share enough similarities that I won't get horribly confused when switching back and forth?

Thanks in advance!

Lets see. OK, I put on my turban and now I'm reading your mind. Oh. Oh! Ohhhhh... Well with your IQ you will have to work hard since the labs will both be cutting into you nap time. The courses share some similarities depending on the quality of the curricula. Since reading your mind gave me a massive pounding headache, I had to stop before I read what CC you're enrolled at. There will be some references in biology to chemistry and probably even some chemical reactions. In general, biology is rote memorization of terminology and chemistry will be writing and balancing chemical equations, learning about valence shells, and stuff like that.
Complimentary ? No so much.
Contradictory ? Yes - you stumbled on the big secret! The two disciplines contradict one another. One disproves the other.
Wait...Oh you meant "antagonistic" You might want to invest in a good thesaurus... Its just a heavy load for somebody with your talents. But not antagonistic.

No, I'd say these courses are fairly different and they will both indeed be helpful in your journey to becoming a nurse. It is definitely a good thing to be taking both of these courses.
