taking a sports physical nude?

ok so i play sports and they require me to take a sports physical. but i think it is kind of awkward when my female Doctor asks me to drop my pants. plus i get a boner and it seems to still be their after my physical. so i thought that it might be better if i was just nude from the start of the physical. But will they allow me to do that
 
the doctors are used to guys getting an erection during exams, whether it's a male or female doctor. it's because of the awkward situation, or it's a turnon or sometimes just because it's so damn cold in those rooms! usually for physicals they have me wait nude in one of those paper robes anyway so maybe ask for one of those. i wouldn't just sit there naked waiting for the doctor because in case the door is opened by someone else.
