I'm not the Tahoe trail pro, but I bet some of you guys are. I'm looking for a wilderness trail around Tahoe (the side nearest to Cali, south?) that doesn't have a ton of people. I'm hoping for it to be about 2-3 miles hike in and we stop and camp for a few days. Do you know anywhere that fits that criteria? I'm thinking about doing Mt. Tallac half way to Cathedral lake, but the only thing I don't like about Mt. Tallac is it's really touristy.
