Tach not working... HELP!

Have a question for all you male problem solvers out there in Ducati Heaven. 1998 Monster 750 with 5300 miles on it. When I start the bike the tach works perfect.... as soon as the bike warms up the tach goes to sleep... as in, stops working totally. I'm guessing that its a sending unit cutting out as the temp comes up???? Any ideas... Thanks in advance for your help... Happy Riding!

Not familiar with your model but on others the connections on the back of the tach can get loose. Wiggly needle and intermittent operation are typically the symptoms. Take it off and check and clean the wire attachment points.
