T5 and Wi-fi

Now that PalmOne is giving away a free wi-fi with the T5 would you recommend it. I currently have an M515 and would like the ability to receive emails. My 515 has been great would just like a little more.

Would I recommend the T5 or Wi-Fi? Wi_Fi can be very useful if you travel a lot and have access to Wi-Fi hot spots. My experience is that there are less and less free hotspots though so be prepared to pay to get your e-mail. You can get the Enfora case at https://www.enfora.com/shop/detail.aspx?ID=1 and have Wi-Fi for your 515 now.

The T5 is a nice machine now that they have worked out most of the bugs but the problem I have with the Palm SIDO Wi-Fi is that is has no memory. In order to use the Wi-Fi card, you have to remove any SD card you have now. This means any programs you want to work with e-mail or the internet must be in RAM. This isn't as big a problem with the T5 since it has 55 mb of program memory but you still have to use up space for Wi-Fi applications that could be used for other programs if the Wi-Fi card had memory. I bought a Clie TJ37 specifically because it has Wi-Fi built in and I don't need to haul around an extra card or lose the use of programs I have on my memory stick. Unfortunately, the only Palm models with built-in Wi-Fi are the T|C and the LifeDrive.

Your call, really, but think about how much you'll actually use Wi-Fi rather than just the idea of having it.

I was looking at the Wi-Fi simply from a convenience standpoint. I generally use the 515 for tel numbers and a date book. I have a few programs Like the Little blue book (doctor numbers and addresses) I am also leaning more towards palm because I use a Mac and it syncs well with it. thanks for causing more confusion. LOL. It's me. I will hem and haw over a decision for months and still not do anything.

thanks.
