Does anyone have any "testing information" on whether our current apps work in Cobalt or if we'll need 42,000 upgrades for compatibility?
If everything needs a tweak I'll almost certainly give it a pass - if 90% of them are okay, I'll try cobablt. I'm hopeful the digitizer "1/16" nightmare" is fixed, and battery life is better.
With a little luck they've sorted out the SD CArd software and we won't need patches for the next 4 months to get it to work, but don't hold your breath.
Also 450MHz would be nice and the 2nd slot is a huge deal for those of you who want the WiFi thing - you shouldn't have to do without a "fixed SD extension" for programs and data just to have Wifi. Half the stuff you'll be sending is probably on the 2nd card anyway!! It would be with me. Why have an SD Card if you can't store data to send versus the handheld?.
All in all I appreciate this post very much . . . we'd better start trying to figure out what exactly is DIFFERENT with the T4 NOW, even if we're wrong . . . otherwise we're all just flying blind. It will be a chance to some "I"m giving up on Palm and getting a Sony" individuals to "come back home," provided PalmOne fixes some of the bugs we all had to endure on the T3.
