T3 vs TX vs E2

My trusty old Tungsten T2 finally quit on me and it's time to get a new PDA. Though I had TONS of problems with my M505 (went through 9 or 10 -- lost count -- before getting one that lasted just short of a year), the T2 was realiable.
I'm considering a T3 (can still find them new, though few are available), TX, T5, or E2.
I liked the compactness of the T2 -- I carry it in my pants pocket at work. I know the T3 is a tad bigger, but with the slider it's still more compact than the TX or T5.
I'm interested in the greater memory capacity of the 3, X, and 5, though to be honest I never used all the memory available on the T2.
Wi-Fi is of some interest, though I doubt I'd use it much at all.
I use my palm mostly as an organizer and memo pad (tons of memos), as well as for medical programs (EPocrates, calculators, etc).
I never used the expansion slot on the T2 because of the difficulty using it with the M505. Is it any easier to access programs on the SD card with the T3, T5, and TX?
The T3 is $315, the TX $280, the T5 about $400. I'm not eager to pay a ton, but want a reliable, versatile unit.
Any recommendations?

Sorry to hear about the T2. I really think it is a great workhorse. The T3 is also great, but you can Get the TX new, and with a warranty. If my T2 needed replacment I would go with the TX. If you have a chance, go to your nearest office/computer store, and paly around with them. I think you will find the TX a good replacement. Guitar Picker.
 
I second the recommendation of the T|X. I went from a M500 to a T|2 to a T|C (wanted built-in wi-fi so that meant the T|C or a PocketPC at the time) and then just very recently moved on to a T|X. I wanted the T|X because I wanted a bigger screen since I use my Palm as a GPS Nav system, universal remote control, media player, and on the fly web browser. I initially had some problems with the T|X, but finally got everything sorted out and it's running like a champ now. I would definitely choose the T|X over a T|3. If you're not going to use Wi-Fi much and don't care too much about a bigger screen, the T|E2 would be an excellent choice, and would be a very familiar feel to the (expanded) T|2 (and would save you some significant $).

As a satisfied T3 user, I did not feel the need to upgrade to the T5 when the model came out. Had my T3 conked out at that time, I would probably still get another T3, since the T5 is just bigger and has not much new features.

However, the new TX appears to be the worthy upgrade to the T3 that the T5 never was. I am still not prompted to replace my unit now since my T3 is still working beautifully, but should I lose the use of my T3 in the near future (knock on wood) I would certainly go for the TX (with its wifi, and other specs almost similar to the T3). I've been hearing favorable remarks about the TX that I never heard about the T5.

Coming from a T2, the TX (in my opinion) is your best choice now.
