T3 Screen Flicker Followed By Fade To Black

Hi--Old experienced T user, brand new T3 user. Went from box to cradle for a four hour charge. Removed and started to do time set, prefs, etc. Screen started to flicker and began to get darker. The brightness tab was in the full right position and still the screen continued to grow dark until finally it went dark with a 100% fully charged battery. If I angled the unit just right toward a light source I could still see the screen. Turned off unit and turned it on again---fully BRIGHT. One minute later problem reoccured. Did soft reset. Same result. Did hard reset. Same result. Turned off and did not touch for 24 hrs. Turned on and flicker was gone and screen stayed bright. Started to install some applications that were all updated to T3 use. Unit has worked fine for the last week and now problem has come back. Is this problem familiar to anyone? Could sure use some advice and or assistance. ps--bluetooth is off and beam recieve is off so battery drain is minimal. Thanks in advance for any help.

I've been using my T3 for more than 1 year without encountering that problem even in low batt situations. Something is wrong with your unit. Have it replaced immediately. Brand new units can be replaced at the store where you bought it, and later at PalmOne.

This is indicative of either a voltage problem in the screen unit or bad screen. You should exchange this unit pronto because it's going to die completely.
