T3 hotsync crash with OL03

I am experiencing consistent hotsync crashes after every hotsync with the following config -
  • Tungsten T3
  • Windows XP Pro
  • Outlook 2003
  • Hotsync mgr 4.1.0 (OL03 conduit updates applied)
  • Versamail conduit 2.6
The sync process runs successfully, however will crash every time afterwards.

The error appears to have something to do with VersaMail and Outlook. If I disable the sync to my Outlook email - no crash even if I continue to sync my other POP3 accounts.

PalmOne tech support has not been of assistance in this regard.

Also, an associate of mine with an identical configuration is experiencing the same issue (therefore it does not seem to be a bad installation).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
 
Hi!

I just got my T3 4days ago. I'm new to all things Palm-wise. I seem to be experiencing a similar problem. Several times now the HotSync process will hang when syncing with versamail. I have to disconnect and sometimes do soft reset. Eventually, I will get it to sync w/o any problems. My system info:

WinXP Pro 2002
Outlook Express

HotSync v.5.0P
VersaMail v.2.6.1
USBDrvr v.5.0

Can anyone help?
 
I noticed your HotSync version is 5.0p - I thought 4.1.0 was the latest and the Palm Desktop is 4.1.4.

Can you tell me where you found this version number?

Sorry for the hiatus - here is the error I receive upon attempting a second hotsync -

Actually, the Palm's latest version is 5.0P (If you go to the Hotsync app on the Palm, and go to the about screen). The Windows version is 4.1.0
