T3 didn't switch off after time change

After the time change on Sunday (I'm in the UK - we change a week before the US) my Palm T3 did not turn off. It usually turns off after 3 mins unless a program is set to stop it (eg my GPS).

Unfortunately, this time I forgot about it for 9+ hours and so the battery drained completely and wiped the internal memory. I've had to recover from a two week old backup.

I've seen it before but have been up to switch it off. It appears to be the Attention Manager alert that causes it.

Does anyone know how to stop this happening in the future?

Not a clue except it sounds like another silly T3 bug. Sorry about you losing some of your data. I guess the best suggestion is to make sure your T3 is hooked up to mains power when you know there's going to be a time change.

Thanks Jim.

I only lost 2 weeks updates which I don't mind.

For info for anyone finding this from an archive search...

Palm have come back also saying they've never heard of this but it could be similar to a repeating contact problem that could occur in January.

It appears that a reminder could alarm just after the palm shuts down (which I expect it would after changing the clock).

It's solution #848 in the Palm knowledge library.

Don't know if this is it but I'm going to check.
