T3 dead????

Today my beloved palm t3 may have died
I pressed hot synch button and then quickly disconnected it because I needed to check a number on my Palm desktop
When I went to turn on my T3, it was dead. Power button, the hard buttons gave no response and the reset button accomplished nothing. Just a blank screen. I tried to remove and reinsert the sd card. All to no avail. Where from or do I trust it to Palm which last time kept my Palm for 3 months before sending me a replacement, unable to repair the digitizer.
Should I buy a new Tx?

Try a hard reset - that should at least give you a screen. And are you sure that it just didn't turn the back light off? I went into panic mode once and then held it under a bright light to see after hitting the power button that the screen was on - just no backlight.

Tried the back light no joy
reset, soft reset adn hard reset produce no acitivity and not even a lighting of the led. Thanks for the suggestions, though

Now that I have a new Tx and have begun updating programs, I decided to take the T3 apart accordingtot he directions supplied with the new batttery. I purchased same a month ago thinking my charge times were decreasing. Disassesmbly and reassembly were complex and I left a few screw drivers marks on the casing. Iwas surprised by
1. how much of the case is plastic
2. THAT AFTER REASSEMBLY WHEN I PLUGGED IT INTO CHARGER THE GRREN LIGht CAME ON... NOW I WAS CAUTIOUSLY OPTIMISTIC
3. It worked after charging. I guess the motherboard connecton must have come loose previously. Given the power light was ntoon after it died its the only explanation I can come up with.
Now I do not nkow what to do.
I think, I'll keep my T 3 at work and use it there. I stillhave the old backupfile in the computer there. I have synched Tx several times adn now the old t3 backups at home are gone

Observation:
Tx is quite a bit slower than the t3 in opeing programs.. more like the palms of old like the m series.
Can Tx be overclocked with PXA clocker?

:D
