T-Mobile wifi from an iPod Touch?

Okay, so since i'm going to be at San Francisco International Airport for 4 hours, and i'm thinking of getting a day pass. I read that there's WiFi at the airport but you have to get a plan for it so I'll be getting a T-Mobile WiFi day pass. How do I get connected with the WiFi? I read that if I searched for the WiFi around the area, tmobile will be found, but how do I enter in my T-Mobile account information?
Atfirst, I tried connecting to this network, and instead of being like other networks that only asked for your password, this one asked for my username and password, that might be how the T-Mobile Hotspots work..
 
that might be a bit of a snag. you see, the ipod only accepts a password for protected network routers. (BTW there is ALWAYS free wifi at airports.)
