So it's really not that cheap. I was thinking the family plan was the $119 and then the extra $9.99 for each additional line. I almost called too. It's really not that great then.

Wow I am impressed. Only one thing is lacking... I only use my home line for cheap int'l long distance. I'll happily cancel the line and switch to TMo if I could get comparable rates. What's the story there?

Let's say you had to make frequent calls to Europe and wanted to drop your existing VOIP servicer and switch to Tmo@home, how would that work?

Are you guys serious? TMO just had 1500 minutes for $49.99 (or maybe even $39.99)...Do you really need more that 1500 minutes a month? I could only see this if you had no job or were homeless...come on.

I talk on the phone a lot...even have my work phone forward to my BB, but I struggle to get to a 1000 minutes, let alone 1500!

It still is pretty cool. It should drive the price of all plans down.

You would be surprised how fast you can rack up minutes (and FEES) if you use your phone for personal and business calls. I've had a 3000 minute plan since 2002-2003 because I started up a few businesses and during busy months I would average 2200-2800 minutes, slow months 1500-2000 minutes. So unlimited plans are great.

Also consider many people now do not have landlines- so this plan is great. Im curious about additional charges such as long distance, roaming, international calls- etc.

If you need lots of minutes with a family add Grand central to your fave5 so all incoming are free. 1000 minutes with free nites and weekends then you can add family texting ($20) and m2m ($20).

I have 5 lines, not running a business but have 2 teenagers and rarely go above 300 counted min/mo. If I did adding H@H would cut off some. My only real compliant with tmo is they "hide" options like the family sms/mms package, m2m add on to a fave5 etc. Then when they promos you have to catch the ad and call to set it up like the $10/mo unlimited family texting.

If you have fave5 family plan and are close to running out of minutes each month and don't have 5 lines yet add a line for home use. Each line gets it's own fave5 and free nites and weekends. Add the $20/mo m2m >> no airtime to call home. Get the cheapest phone they have for the fave5 add grand central >> no air time incoming! If those techniques don't keep you in air time you have might want to consider that unlimited airtime added line for $99/mo. Now if they only had a family internet plan....
