I had a Blackberry and recently switched to Android. I love it. If you're more into email and business more than multimedia, go with BlackBerry. If you want a fun phone, go with Android because it has tons of apps in the market. I've also had windows, but I don't like it personally. But any of these phones would be good for traveling.
I have both a android and blackberry I love the android for the apps and the blackberry for the music player... it supports more formats, but i would go with the android because over all it's a better phone, easier operating system more customization
