T-Mobile launches first umts device

T-Mobile has just launched samsung t639 in select markets. This device is a very inexpensive devices and has been lunched in some New York city markets Miami markets etc. Its the first device by TMobile to be umts compatible. No information exactly when a 3g network will be in place but this definately shows that the customers who purchase this phone will be the first to have access to the 3g services. When they are launched.
 
No word on that yet. I'm keeping watch. It would be cool. But uta great to see TMobile get into the game here and start making it known. You know?~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~
