Hello, I couldn't find the exact problem I'm having so I thought I'd post it.
I just switch from Cingular to T-mobile and got my new Pearl yesterday. I got it from Letstalk.com. Everyting was working fine yesterday morning; phone, yahoo email, receiving sms. Then by the end of the work day I would get a "Call Failed" error as soon as I hit the call button, incoming calls go right to voicemail, I can't send/receive text messages either. But my email and bb internet are fine. It connects to the EDGE network.
I was on the line with t-mobile and they've had me taking the battery out(which I was doing all night), wipe the phone, take out the SIM, etc. They told me I need to go to a T-Mobile store and see if my SIM works in another T-Mobile phone. If it does I need to send my phone back, if not they'll give me a new SIM.
Anyone ever have to deal with a similar problem or know anyway that I could fix this? I just don't understand how data works and voice doesn't.
