Okay, Yesterday, I ordered a phone from T-Mobile over the phone. A MyTouch 4G to be exact. This was a new contract new line phone. The representative didn't mention Business Discounts to me, but said she would forward me to someone in the Business department. before doing so, she had already placed an order for a 4G phone for me. I then spoke to the rep. from the Business department whom which after speaking to, also ordered me a phone, yet at a discounted price. So when I received the phones, both the same day, I connected one and was told to send back the other. Note: ordering the second phone also left me with 2 new lines, instead of one. Also, the reps didn't charge me for either phone. I guess it was to be charged to the account/billing.
Now here is my question, my family member wants to keep the second phone that came in, she already has a T-Mobile phone on this same plan. If she were to stick her SIM card in the phone, and us not return it, will we still be charged? Also while speaking to a rep today about a Bluetooth problem, they had no idea we had a second phone. They encouraged us to keep the second. That did not feel like a safe thing to do. How would we go about her keeping the second phone without being charged?
