I bought i blackberry curve 14 days ago on PAYG from a T-mobile store.
The alt button on the key pad has developed a problem over the last few days....it works but isn't half as responsive as the other key (this button is used to access the secondary functions of other keys so is used a lot in texts and emails in order to type full stops, commas etc)
I am going to go back to T-Mobile tomorrow. I have phoned tonight to find out their returns policy apparently if your phone breaks in the first 7 days you can get a replacement no problem, after 7 days however they send it off for repair. The manager does have the discretion however to offer a replacement after 7 days.
Any advice on any legislation that will get me a swap??
I think its disgusting that I paid £200 14 days ago and they won't replace it automatically.
I don't know if this makes any different but I have found on the T-mobile forum on their website a customer who like my had a faulty phone after 2 weeks and after a lot of quibbling got a replacement - is their any legislation to say customers must be treated equally...i.e she got a new phone so so should I!
Thank you v much
