T-Mobile Android G1 Unlocking.

Hi forum members, i have a T-mobile android G1 sent to me from US. i purchased the unlock code online and inputted it and it worked ok.

however a gmail screen appears requesting for signing in or creating a new account.

however when i follow the instructions and execute, i'm prompted to wait whiles it connects to the servers and this always fails.

I'm way outside the US, so how do i go about bypassing this gmail thing??

Any help in going about this will be greatly appreciated.

This is Smart Phone, you may try for hard reset.
 
Dont panic its a known problem Google it first if that not helps just contact me on any messenger i have the tested way out for it

i have one of this htc g1 by t mobile and bought the network code but i life out of usa and the phone always asked for account activation.what should i do to solve this issue.

yes buth i have not tmobile uk card ...i buy austria tmobile and not work...now i must just look g1
 
Can you post more information regarding settings in universal-sim? how are the settings that you put on universal-sim?
