I've found two really good phones by the names of HTC Desire HD and LG Optimus 2X. The Desire HD has been rejected by the FCC for North American 3G. The Optimus 2X might get dumped by FCC as well, but is likely on its way here (in March). Since I'm on T-Mobile, the two kings, G2 and myTouch ARE BORING!!! So is the Nexus S! I want something better, and I eventually found the GalaxyS 4G, which I am not a GalaxyS fan. Sidekick 4G is for messaging, which I don't do. I need speed, stability, and design.So, since the Desire HD and the Optimus 2X can only work on T-Mobile 2G, what are the advantages and disadvantages? The two phones are super-fast and have great design, so I doubt the internet would be a big problem.
In what ways are 3G better?
Is the Desire HD or Optimus 2X on a 2G network worth it?
If so, which one is better?
Should I just wait for a new super-cool phone like the HTC Pyramid?
OK I am asking 4 questions, but please help because I need to get a new phone since my Nexus One is pretty much outdated.
