T-mo wing v dash

first, i hope this is the correct forum and this doesnt need to be in the 't-mobile' area; i put it here simply because its completely phone related and i assume i will get a better and possibly more knowledgeable response.

ive seen the excellent comparison chart created by another member ( http://www.geocities.com/sk3vsbb8100/ ) but in terms of practical use which do you prefer and why? The wing looks as tho its a better overall device and a bit smaller and more ergonomic to boot.
i have however seen references to poor processor speed on the wing which limits applications, etc?
i dont know when its coming out in TX - but i would certainly like to use 3G when its available as i find edge to be painfully slow.
i could care less about - and will remove if possible - the 'my favs' BS; its been years since ive bought a phone thru t-mobile as quite frankly i think most of their US phones leave a lot to be desired.

i currently have a SE p900 and an SE W810i and look forward to something with a bit more functionality (my pharos would 525+ be almost perfect but for its glitchy-ness and lack of a non wifi based phone) but despite my best efforts (and cases) i can sometimes be a bit rough on and demanding of my devices.

i dont plan on re-upping my contract with t-mobile (i love the fact that ive had multiple lines with them since the inception of voice stream, thru to now; yet somehow when i went into a retail outlet to inquire i dont qualify for any reduction in price on any phones? ) with the possible exception of a thread i saw (have yet to read it all yet) which mentions a wing or dash promotion with a new line

any random input from those who have used one or both is also greatly appreciated

thanks!

nothing practical eh?
and i was told that HoFo was a great resource....

seriously, even a 'youd get a better response in t-mobile, or smart phone/PPC' would be enough
