T-Mo Free Phone Day

Yesterday T-Mobile had its Free Phone event, and I drove by my local Tmo store and there was a line out the door and down the block!! Did anyone go in and get their free device, and if so, how much did it cost for the two year plan? Did they require Data Plans? How was the experience?
 
I wondered about this too, Mark. No lines here though - T-Mobile doesn't even have a retail store anywhere in Arkansas. I have my pre-paid T-mo (spare line) 8120 that I use. The signal is good at home but it's not too "steady" once I'm out and about. BTW, I read a prediction about companies that will disappear in 2011 in this article and T-Mobile is on the list. I don't know how accurate they are in their predictions although some of these companies seem to be hanging by a thread.
