T/E to T5, Z launcher problem

Recently saw a great deal on T5 ($230, after rebates) so I'm in! I synced my T5 and everything seemed fine till I tried to start Z Launcher. I get a fatal alert message as follows:

"WindowGraphic.c,Line:1876,empty bitmap family"

I have tried installing a backround that is 320x480, but that didn't work. Any ideas?
 
I don't know if ZL is as finicky about being restored as LauncherX is, but you might have to actually install ZL to the T5 instead of just syncing the TE ZL files over. (LauncherX seems to crash if I restore from HotSync--I then have to reinstall LauncherX.prc and run it. The data for tabs, colors, etc. is retained, at least.)
 
The T5 is as fincky as the most finckiest feline. Try getting rid of all of the remants of the application you are trying to install. Then perform a soft reset. Then resynch and then try to a fresh install....you have to out smart the stupid thing sometimes...
 
There was an update to Zlauncher a few weeks ago? It works fine on my T5 but you may have to unload as noted by Carol and Telyx which is really the thing to do when setting up a new device, IMHO, anyway.
 
Thanks for all your suggestions. So far I tried the first idea-load it in seperate, but that didn't work. Next I'll try loading it seperate after a soft reset. I'll let you know. Thanks
 
Tried deleting all Zlauncher related items(except one I wasn't sure of), then reset, then I reinstalled (via beam from my T/E) Z launcher. NO LUCK :-(
 
You will need to delete ZL and then reinstall the latest version (not via beam, via hotsync or from ur memory card) along with a compatable skin for it. The skin used in the TE is not the same as the one used in the T5 (they have different resolutions and the skins do not scale). That should solve your issues.
