I'm doing my T-day shopping today. Someone else is picking up the turkey for me but I got my non-perishable list ready & my coupons in order.
For those hosting/cooking, have you done your shopping yet, or are you a last minute shopper?
BQ: what do you expect your budget to be this year? You don't have to give me a $$$ amount, but just wondering-- is anyone else trying to be a bit frugal or stretching a small budget or are you saying the heck with it and splurging?
I got 3 turkeys for 59 cents a pound! I'm going to pick up another 1 or 2 by the end of the month! Awesome, I love making turkeys, you can use them for so much- sandwiches, pot pies, make stock from the bones. What other meat can you stretch like that for 59 cents a pound??? That's cheaper than chicken!
