T-5 Battery Problem

I hope someone can help me. My T-5 will not function in a normal mode. The unit is not charging, but the flash which shows you are charging the unit is showing all the time. It will not return to the normal state showing battery time left on the little battery at the top. it just shows this flash as if it were plugged into a charger even tho it isn't. I did soft resets, hard resets and nothing changes the problem. Can someone help me. Thank you
