I just purchased a 4 GB card for my T-3 and the Palm says the card is not recognized, do I want to format it? I select OK and it says card not recognized.
What is the problem? Doesn't T-3 recognize cards this size? How do I go about formatting it?
Palm's Official tech support. The link is to Palm's official supported max card size by device. It states that only a 2GB card is officially supported for any Palm device and the T3 is only 1GB.
4GB cards are definitely FAT 32 structured and this is probably the root cause as the T3 was not configured since even 1GB's weren't available in 2003.
You might be able to get someone with a later version to try and format it to see if you get lucky and have it work on the T3 but........I kinda doubt it.
