I have an HP Mini 110 and recently had to send it out to get fixed.
I got it back and now when I start it up a "System Preparations Tool 2.0" pops up.
It says:
"1. to skip windows welcome or mini-setup and configure the installation as scripted in winbom.ini. Click Factory
2. To reboot this computer and manually test the installation. Click Audit (available only in factory mode)
3. To prepare the computer for the end user. Click Reseal"
Then is has a Options box where I can check off:
Dont reset grace period for activation
Dont regenerate security identifiers"
I read up online that the computer techs probably forgot to do it, and that I should click seal, I assume they mean reseal. When I click it says
"You chose to regnerate security identifiers on the next reboot. You only need to regenerate SID's if you plan to make an image of the installation after shut down. To regenerate SID's click OK, to go back and change settings click Cancel"
I had to get a new hard drive in my mini and dont want to have to send it back out after just getting back. Any help?
