Sync trouble with Outlook Calendar

I searched for this but no luck...

I'm having trouble trying to sync my E50 to Outlook 2000 Calendar using PC Suite version 6.83.

1. I cannot get recurring items to sync
2. I have some random items from way beyond the sync range getting transferred to the phone.

Any suggestions?
 
1. There is a problem with some recurring items between s60 and Outlook. I prefer to add recurring items to the phone and then letting Outlook do what it wants with them.
2. Sorry no idea.
 
I played around with it a bit more. I was able to get it to work - including recurring items - if on the tab where you select one-way or two-way synchronizing, you check the box at the bottom that says "Delete all mobile phone data and replace with data from Microsoft Outlook." I had planned to use the phone as a calendar viewer anyway, so I guess this will work for now.
