I'm 16 years old. I eat reasonably well and get 8 hours of sleep every night.
For the past 6 months ive been having the following symptoms: extreme headaches (not migrains), occasional dizziness, random muscle pains, pain in joints (hips and fingers), and tired after eating. Also all my life i've been having extreme stomach pain. It is right behind my belly button, it doesn't happen that often. The pain in my stomach is so bad I can hardly breath. I've been to four doctors and none of them have been able to explain any of this.

Does anyone have any ideas??

Hi Kelster!

What types of doctors have you seen? Do you know what disorders they've ruled out? Like, have you already gotten the blood test for Celiac Disease? Or another blood test called a SED rate or ESR, it checks to see if you have inflammation in your blood. If you saw a stomach doc did they do an endoscope or test you for H. Pylori?

If there's swelling or the pain behind your belly button gets worse from exercise or stretching, even sneezing, it might be an paraumbilical hernia. They're harmless but very annoying, the pain can be very sharp. A quick surgery can repair the problem.

I have seen 2 general doctors, a neurologist and a gastroenterologist. They have just ruled out general thing such as diabetes. I havnt gotten any other blood tests. There are many diseases it could be but the doctors say they wouldnt show up in a 16 year old. I am going to the mayo clinic tuesday.. hopefully 5th time is a charm. :p
