The general manager of Nokia Taiwan, Michael Hsu, has confirmed once again that Symbian3 will be released in the third quarter of this year and will be bypassing the Symbian2. Not only will Symbian3 be released this year, but Nokia is already working on the Symbian4, which should be out sometime in late 2010 or early part of 2011.
Beginning in the second half of 2010, Nokia's Maemo 6 handset will make its appearance. The pictures above shows what the Nokia 2011 portfolio should look like:
55% of the phones will be based on Symbian; 35% of the handsets will be feature phones (S40?); 10% will be based on Maemo.
