Sydney Pollack Obituary

I was sorry to hear of the passing of Sydney Pollack at the age of 73.
He was a superb director with a wide body of work from thrillers through romantic movies and comedies.
As an occasional actor he was also classy in anything he did even if it was a cameo role.

Saw him yesterday in Made of Honour a bog standard rom-com to which he added some much needed class.

Kudos also for Three Days of the Condor one of the best thrillers of the 70's.

He will be sorely missed in Hollywood.
Watched him recently in Tootsie - him and Dustin Hoffman were so funny
