SXG75 problem

Hi there, I am having a problem with my SXG75. I was trying to load up a new Java application to use instead of the subscription based VDO Navigation tool. It was a demo version and the instructions directed me to use Java Midlet Installer to get the appliction onto the phone - I couldn't find JMI on the benq website so got a copy from elsewhere on the web, it appearsed to load ok, but whe I reset the phone from within the JMI appliction the phone didn't restart properly. After a switch off it then worked ok and I could access the new GPS application. Instructions for this new application suggested loading the SpotGPS as well. I did this by the same method and now my phone will not start -up correctly. It goes through the start up sequence but then stops just at the point it would be acquiring the network and then doesn;t respond to keypresses and eventually will switch off. Does anyone have any idea what has happened and suggestions on how to fix the problem. A final bit off information, the phone is recognised by Mobile Phone Manager software during this process.
